MG-Device

The MG-Device is a custom-built Bluetooth device created by Mariano Goni Magic specifically for professional mentalism performance.

It’s a small, concealable unit with two SILENT buttons and a hidden display. The performer keeps it in a pocket, sleeve, or any hidden position. When connected to NOW! Ultra via Bluetooth:

• Button 1 triggers a scan — the app captures a frame, runs OCR, and processes the result through the active mode
• Button 2 confirms the result — when Confirm Mode is active, pressing BTN2 sends the revelation to the API, Hydra Pro, and printer

The result appears silently on the MG-Device’s display the moment it’s recognized — the performer reads it without looking at their phone, without any visible interaction.

The device also reports its battery level to the app.
